For me, it will always be from Dark Angel.

Now playing

The second I saw it, I had instant flashbacks to the Hard Drivin’ arcade sit-down cabinet.
My friends and I dumped countless hours and quarters into this when it first showed up at the neighborhood convenience store back in ‘89.

Did he mean the future as depicted in 1980's television sci-fi? I can’t look at this thing without hearing New Wave synth music.

And it’s still stupid looking.

And it’s still stupid looking.

A quote from Musk, “the future should look like the future”...
As depicted in the drawings of a 5 year old boy. What a fucking clownish statement. Recently listened to a podcast where he wouldn’t stop talking about Grok. Kept telling the host to ask Grok questions and then would erupt into maniacal laughter at Grok’s “w

There’s no way that Tesla will convert 40% of those two million reservations into orders. That would be 800,000 cybertrucks. At the rate that these will be produced, it would take Tesla a decade to make them all. The price has also increased at least 50% from what Musk-rat initially said further driving down demand.

The Marvels was, I think, poorly Marketed.

The “homework” argument has always been way overstated. If you’re watching a Marvel movie that’s a direct sequel to another movie it would probably help to watch the movie(s) that it’s a direct sequel to, but even then it’s probably not necessary. These movies explain, and I’d say overexplain, everything that an

“’The Marvels was shot during Covid, and there wasn’t enough supervision on set [from executives]’ Iger said at the summit,...

Except...The Marvels is good. Critics have been generally positive and audiences seem to like it, so it seems like if it’s not doing as well commercially there might be problems outside of the movie itself. If you want to pick on a movie, Ant-Man 3 was not good. Perhaps that movie left a bad enough taste in audiences’

Seriously. I thought the movie was a return to form, and was more enjoyable than a lot of their films, including the Ant Man movies.

I thought it would not do well because superhero movies in general are not in an “up” phase, but this take is kinda disrespetful.

I thoroughly enjoyed The Marvels and wish more of the current MCU felt like this one. Fun, light hearted, heartwarming , funny, with just a bit of seriousness, darkness, and edge.

“We gotta blame someone, and it sure as shit ain’t gonna be me”

Imagine trying to spin it this way. Jesus Christ. In a rambling interview where he told advertisers to go fuck themselves, she chooses to say he “apologized”?

Exactly this. You don’t accept an executive position with Musk and repeatedly defend him because you’re a good person. She wants money and will spout an BS needed to make all the money she possibly can until this finally falls through and then go look for the next pile of money. Highly doubtful anything else matters

I feel the Muskrat isn’t anything as principled as the Nolan Joker was, though. Elon’s just a garden variety egomaniacal sociopath (although one fertilized into monstrous proportions...)

“cough” 5'8" at best...

disney paid millions to support republican campaigns and only backed off when their employees were in open revolt.

The article (at least at the time I read it) says “$0.003", not “$0.003 cents”. The dollar sign signifies “dollars”, not “cents”.
