Unless something has drastically changed, back when I lived in Ohio, Marco’s was the pizza you didn’t order. Instead, you ate Marco’s anytime any organization or school wanted to do a mass pizza lunch. And it was about as good as you might expect in such circumstances, which is to say, not very.

I didn't get the impression that washing with soap was "bad," necessarily, but it can leave behind residue that makes your food taste gross. Nothing is worse than biting into a fresh strawberry and tasting Palmolive!
