Interesting... Maybe I’ve just hit diminishing returns on my whole situation, and need to get a new tv or new eyes!

I figured it should be, but you know how they like to bill these things. Speeds “up to” 500Mbps, but only if you’re off peak hours, not using wifi, using one of 3 acceptable modems or routers, and live within a couple hundred feet of the main hub (or whatever they’re called), so really it’s usually only like 20.
Honest question: Are there actually that many people out there who are streaming as much as possible in 4K? And if there are, is there actually a big enough difference to care?
That still is also the most realistic he looked in the movie. They clearly made a style choice to make everything in the speed force stand out from the real world, but lord, they chose the style terribly. Probably to fit in with the rest of the terrible choices they made in the movie.
I just read that book over the summer, and I was not shocked to find out how that experiment ended... pretty much exactly how anyone with half a brain cell would have expected. What a surprise that you can’t build a utopian society around “we can all do whatever I want”
Those Geico motorcycle insurance commercials where they sing Build Me Up Buttercup had me jonesing to watch that movie for so long, but it wasn’t available to stream anywhere I had access (I wasn’t gonna pay to scratch that itch). I was finally able to watch it on Peacock, I believe, a few months ago, and it was very…
On the one hand, being able to get Hulu, Disney, and ESPN in one app, if I were so inclined, would be nice. On the other hand, I pay for annual Disney+, and have access to a Premium Hulu account and don’t really care one way or another if I have ESPN (never thought I’d say that), so it would likely only increase my…
Has it been that long since “There’s Something About Mary” came out that we, as a society, forgot this sage advice?
What are the odds they ordered that pizza after seeing how controversial each is as a topping and got stuck having to eat it and pretend it’s good to own the libs (somehow)?
What would a farewell article be without one last (hilarious) typo?? Best of luck in the future, Claire!
I do. It’s called pooping.
There are already Marco’s Pizza locations throughout the Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, and Southwest regions,
100%. It was nice for a cute nickname to make the title work, beyond just Thor and Jane (which would have been enough, honestly), but as a real, full time name it just doesn’t work.
Officially she doesn’t seem to have a name--IMDB lists here as “Gorr’s Daughter”. The “Love” moniker can easy be explained as a nickname, since we all know that even though they were called Love and Thunder, that’s not Thor’s name either.
Yeah, those extra long ones are ridiculous. I don’t care if I’m watching a full movie, there’s no way I’m sitting through a full 30-minute ad. I get annoyed enough when there’s back-to-back non-skippable 10-second ads!
The feature is made for people who use wheelchairs but can also be helpful for older people who have trouble with stairs or folks traveling with strollers
The important question (to me): Can this be used to find a lost pet or is it range-limited? My dog’s a flight risk, and I’ve had to spend a few hours driving around trying to find her before. If I could stick this on her collar and be able to find her if she gets out again, which is hopefully never with a now-fenced…
It depends which one you get. The steak bagel is brushed with butter--you can see how it glistens compared to the other ones in the header image.
Yeah, the brushing of the exterior of the (bad) bagel with butter just makes no sense. Now, brush it on the inside, where it belongs and can be absorbed into the bagel making it slightly less bad, and we have a different conversation.
That’s a shame. I know they charge for it in the app (which, yes, is absurd), but I’ve never had them charge me for it in person. It’s been a minute, though, maybe I’ll try this weekend and see for myself.
