This is the kind of article I want to see from Gawker. Not only did it break this very complex issue down - it some how widened by understanding of my weird Tea Party uncle at the same time. Thank you, Kyle.
Oatmeal did it: http://theoatmeal.com/comics/mantis_…
I thought it was funny back in the early mid-2000s when there was talk of a Homestar Runner show on Cartoon Network. I think the rumor was that they just couldn't figure out what it would be.
Feels like the first mention of the Xbox One by Gawker that isn't kowtowing to the obelisk.
Oh video game music - how do I love thee? Let me count the ways!!

I'm pretty sure Gawker has some kind of deal with Microsoft. They do seem to to do a lot of promotion for this software hobbled, low res, underpowered, underselling, discounted pile.
That was awful. I mean - how many tropes and fetishes can they stick in one trailer. Part cyborg scantily armored hot girl half shaved head alcoholic smoker apathetically watching horrible events unfold on an international scale before intervening on her motorcycle with a shotgun. I love how her hair is so heavily…
My only question is this: Do we get see more of the naked cannibal twins naked with their big uncut peckers flopping around?
People are buying into more than just a product. They are buying into the dreams, motives and goals guys like Palmer put fourth. They believe they want to create a product and do what is best in for the product, the company, and the backers.
When is Michael Bay going to learn that consent is sexy.
I'm gonna go buy a PS3 just to spite Microsoft.
Behold his MIGHTY HAND!
Galactic Power Tansform!
Can they get back to finishing Sonic 4 Episode III or maybe a Sonic 5... that is actually good and really capture the physics and play of 1-3?
The word "monetization" makes me sick to my stomach.
