Terrific movie. Jack Black’s performance is wonderful, walking a fine line.

I actually liked how they recontextualized the prophecy within the series. That stuff isn’t there to create meaning for the botched GoT ending where it turns out absolutely nothing mattered around the Prince Who Was Promised. Instead, Aegon’s dream is revealed to be the secret family motivation for the Targaryens to…
oh get fu©ked. Hamas’ anti LGBTQ+ stance is not, or ever will be, an excuse for the genocide of an innocent population. And you’re trying to use it as a justification by bringing it up here.
Eminem has been shit for way longer than he has been great. He had a stellar run of albums in the late 90s and early 2000s. And now he continues to dump on his legacy with every new release. This has nothing to do with his politics, it’s just obvious that he’s tired and has nothing to say anymore.
the main issue is conflating streams with album sales. the barrier to entry is just so much lower! just because someone is streaming something a million times does not mean they’re also going to shell out on a concert, shit it might not even mean they like the artist.

Help daddy get his rock’s off.
It also led to one of the funnier plot lines in the otherwise weak 4th season of Arrested Development.
Billionaire businessman invest money in project, doesn’t read fine print and tries to alter reality to suit his feelings.
it’s unclear what a “flattering” portrayal would’ve really entailed, at least in Snyder’s view. Trump’s friends and supporters seem to like him because he’s an asshole and a bully, so it’s hard to imagine Snyder was looking for some sanitized version of his story where he came across sweet and saintly
There’s some irony in writing a review about a movie that the reviewer says is batshit insane in a batshit insane way.
Don’t know why we need this. We already have a deep-dive interview with the CEO.
Listen to how that sounds. Glee literally means “glee.”
I believe it’s a reference to the fact Willow was taken off Disney+, not that it was cancelled. There’s currently no legal way to watch it, same with many movies and series on all these streaming networks.
I watched Nope again last night after reading this article and have to say that I enjoyed it much more my second viewing. It was just a fun movie.
