It seems pretty clear to me.  Not sure where the confusion lies.

Thank god I’m not the only one who thought it looked GREAT for something still in development. The fact that people say “the models look like GTAV” or RDR2 is a damn compliment since it’s not even close to being finished.

What is wrong with people? I saw that GTA6 footage and my first thought was, “Wow, this is going to be the most polished game ever made if it looks like that 4-5 years before release.”

Yeah, this is one of those where sure, on the one hand, the criticism is accurate, and on the other hand, it also applies to almost every historical drama ever made.

I am loathe to defend someone for using the word “edutainment”, but the fact is movies have been distorting and exaggerating history since the birth of the medium. Buzzwords aside, I think Davis and Tennon seem pretty knowledgable about the real story and aware of the limits of of big budget studio filmmaking. The

That was my guess, but I don’t think the studio would be that tone deaf. Hiding it would cause huge, well, PR, but there is a such thing as bad buzz

So, pretty damn clear that Fury doesn’t actually say “This is different,” right?

Nothing is bright anything in that trailer. I mean, props for capturing the realism of how murky and dark the deep sea is, I guess, but feels like this might lead to a Lion King-style situation where the realism of the imagery undercuts the magic.

No bishop with an erection, no sale.

A corporation saying nothing is, according to Jon Oliver, always the right play.

I mean I can understand UK brands sending tweets of condolences, but kinda weird that the frog that once had a little dick got involved.

I’ve seen so much praise for the show and find it mystifying because you’re 100% right. I did not give a single shit about anything that was happening post-pandemic.

You have the book to thank for that. The pre- and during-pandemic chapters were great, the post-pandemic stuff not so much. Now that I think of it, that also describes Oryx and Crake.

The Creative Arts Emmys were Sept. 3. Music has never been a major Emmy category.

It had the least interesting and convincing cult I’ve ever seen in post-apocalyptic fictions.  All the collapse of society stuff was great, but the “now” just felt like padding.

Himesh Patel was pretty great in Station Eleven but that show went downhill quick near the end...

It's far from the most absurd thing, but I really "like" the suggestion that somehow out of 3000 people in New York, somehow none of them were Jewish.

They weren’t able to access their usual website for some reason.

Holy shit this story brought out the fascists and racists real quick.  Been awhile since I’ve seen this many people say the quiet parts out loud.

I haven’t read the full article and Ive never heard of this forum. But im going to take a wild shot in the dark here. Its right wing isnt it? Full on Trump loving, white supremist right wing.
