...right but we were talking about whether it’s better than Discord as an alternative to their old forums. both would start with 1 user so that’s not really relevant to whether it makes a good support forum.

/pol/ logic only works on /pol/ dumbass
...that’s also true with creating a new discord, forum, or chatroom. it will always start with 1 person. if you’re using it as a support forum I don’t see what the issue is. there are already hundreds of indie games that do exactly this lol
anyone can make a subreddit and have mod abilities over that subreddit
chatrooms are older than forums, and they’ve always had this same issue.
if the indie dev runs their game’s subreddit they shouldn’t have any issues, as a mod you can even approve shadowbanned/spam comments if you want.
The setup really isn’t that insane - it’s basically immersion therapy right? Forced to confront every bad scenario until you can handle it all, just taken to an extreme neurotic Nathan level. I think it might actually be genuinely useful even? Is that insane?
My friends and I were cry-laughing at parts. I went in thinking it was going to be a more subdued Nathan For You because the reviews implied it was light on laughs, but holy shit no, it’s like the Smokings Allowed episode stretched out into a series, I couldn’t be more happy
Enjoyed it, thought Hawke and both main kids were great. Jeremy Davies way overacted his role but that’s sorta his thing now so whatever lol
Not an argument, just a fact. The DM she refers to has nothing to do with “racial sensitivity” even if her influence on or reflection of the Asian-American community was the subject of the discussion. And there’s obviously a reason you zeroed in on that in the first place in an article focused on a suicide attempt.…
None of this controversy has to do with “racial sensitivity” but the dude’s brought it up twice, I think we can read between the lines a bit lol
-“If the basis of your criticism is that somehow it’s too low budget looking”
yeah but they’re doing a “fargo” thing and season two is gonna be in topeka kansas circa 1983
that’s fine, but this doesn’t look like an old campy low-budget tv show or B-movie or even something inspired by one, it very specifically looks (and sounds) like a CollegeHumor sketch from 2008 or a porn parody. that’s why people keep saying it looks like a school project, that’s not just a slight, it’s literally…
lol the audio is blown out and there’s an overuse of HDR and digital post-processing, it looks bad in a 2006 way not a 1960s way. It doesn’t look like an old tv show or a B-movie or anything like that, it looks more like that first Lonely Island sketch where they eat lettuce or maybe a church youth group video.
I mean yeah obviously it’s intentional, but it doesn’t really look like those things or inspired by those things, it very specifically looks like a mid-2000s YouTube video or porn parody, complete with an overuse of HDR and blown out audio. Like it doesn’t look like a low-budget production from the past, it looks like…
artist with a teen fanbase uses a site aimed at teens to advertise and teach crypto gambling for an hour at a time. i’m sure there will be no consequences from this.
it looks like a CollegeHumor sketch from about 2009
both categories have two noms each for Only Murders In The Building, why hone in on atlanta and then say “mmm, I wonder why”
