No rear window? Didn’t see that one coming...

Yeah, too common. I’d much rather get a used 9-4X instead.

What is a Cayenne Turbo, Alex?

Why did they even develop and sell the Urus then? If the goal is brand preservation and exclusivity, then stick to exotic supercars that mortals rarely see. Any OEM jumping into the SUV market is trying to 1) maximize profits, 2) increase volume, and 3) increase adoption/brand awareness - 3 things which don’t seem to

I’m tired of all the bitching from Jalopnik staff about SUVs. A bunch of New Yorker city folk who don’t even drive everyday trying to tell the rest of America what we should be buying. Ironic since they rarely buy new cars anyways, yet want a say on what manufacturers should be building.

The one you can’t identify is a Ford based kit car, the Quantam Xtreme

The F30/F80 is already the same size as a E39.  I believe this would be slightly bigger than the F30

You.. you mean wheelie ridiculous, right? Just trying to steer you in the right direction.

I basically had this exact car (04) and should never have gotten rid of it. I still think it’s about the best-looking thing BMW ever made.

Wait... you’re saying this is a distillation of the brand? And it’s sterile? You’re the person excited to buy the Z4 with it’s 8 million creases, aren’t you...

Nope.

Clownshoe is my dream track toy. I also think that generation M roadster is an under rated gem. Around 2005 I had a chance to buy a 1975 911, a base clownshoe, or an Integra and I made the worst decision and got the Integra because I could fit a mountain bike inside it easily.

The added power and torque is definitely nice in the E46 motors. That’s why I love my clownshoe, I have the twitchy light handling like an E30 but I have an E46 engine

I don’t think this was a good way for Koenigsegg to correct the record. They should have tweeted, “Quick jump on this One:1 before Bonham’s figures out how much it’s really worth”... which would have alerted Koenigsegg’s Saudi clientele, that follow their Twitter page, this auction is coming up and they need to bid

E46 was the high water mark for engagement in a BMW.  The only sedan I would rather have is the V8 M3, just for that engine.

While I agree with you, the beancounters at BMW most certainly do not.

enthusiasts buy new cars?

Of course not.  Those are only reserved for enthusiast cars.
