Again, the real world take rate on manuals shrinks every year. Everyone talks a big game on a message board, but when it comes to putting money down, the bodies aren't there.

100% agreement here. I actually had a deposit down on a Guilia Quadrifoglio, but pulled it when I heard that Alfa had backed out of offering the manual in the US. Instead I soldiered on with my 2012 E90 M3 for another year and change until eventually replacing it with a 2018 GTI as stopgap. At this point I don’t think

Also a reminder that you can get a brand new Cayman for the same price and actually bring a bag with you.

Well, since they killed the F-Type manual...

It does look good in blue...and it has a manual...

rrrrrrrrRRRPP BANG-POP rrrrrr etc.

Yep.  Of all the cars on the market this one screams “give me a manual” the loudest.  Well, maybe the Miata, but that has one.

If there’s one car that should have had a manual transmission, it is the 4C.

The possessive form of it is not “it’s”, which is a contraction of “it is”. And maybe there’s a reason for a lot of conventions. And if you want to get a really badly designed and horrible looking small crossover, the Toyota CH-R is now available.

What part of is already sold out are you failing to hear?

I’m surprised Torch didn’t recommend a Pike Factory car considering he owns one.

“I would prefer something all-wheel-drive”

Don’t buy anything.  Swap cars with your wife.  Problem solved.  Next, please.

Good on you. Genesis makes good cars.

Am I the only person who thinks that the new Jetta doesn’t look very good?

But the old 403 begs for it. Just look how it dresses, all flat and straight with underpasses and great sight-lines and farms for as far as the eye can see.

European or African?

180 hp in a 3 ain’t bad. But how it will compare to the air speed of an unladen swallow?

Is Jalopnik, like, contractually obligated to attach “Holy-Grail” to every description of this engine?

I’m just sad his name wasn’t actually Hans.
