Yeah, as bad as the electrical issue is, the real problem is the four cylinder engine.

The list is limited to engines Volkswagen Group currently makes. The VR5 and V10 TDI engines are not in that category.

The W8 would also be counted then if you wanted engines no longer being used.

The limited scope of engines was noted:

Despite all this, the GTi do 60 1 tenth slower than the Speed3 and 3 tenths faster than the ST (I’m a former ST owner, loved it but also able to recognize it wasn’t good as a GTI)

It is called a GTi, it is vastly superior, and you can get one right now.

Who remebers the Edonis?

Nah, the Lotus came with a 6 speed ZF manual.

bullshit. not with the 7AT and AWD. Not on *that* car.

Well I know what version I’d buy.

Ahem...

GTI all the Golfs.

Lately the answer to most of these has been some variation of VW Golf.

So...
Uhh, yeah.  Golf.

A third pedal.

Three pedals, for sure. And a semblance of personality helps. Some kind of anthropomorphic tendency.

No manual option. Because fun is wrong now.

But if only it had a manual!

Am I the crazy one that think it’s not a very good looking car?

Here come all the people that weren’t going to buy one anayway proclaiming that they aren’t going to buy one.

Want to love it. Don’t love it.
