I always use TurboTax on my Mac. This year I downloaded the free iOS app and gave it a try without actually submitting it. The only difference for me was that I couldn't add my student loan information when filling out the 1040EZ on the iOS app. That had about a $300 effect on my tax return.

If more phones come with bloatware, we are going to notice the same trend that has happened in the desktop/laptop world; more people going to Apple. Apple may be more restrictive but they don't install "all that extra crap" and the experience is seamless.
