Agreed. Sometimes I don’t know what I’m looking for until I see it...

Bah. I’ve done that every time I’ve moved anyway. I can’t stand when outlets and switches have been painted over, so it’s fresh white devices & cover plates all around. I do it first thing, when I’m mapping the circuit breaker box.

Oh, yay! Found that wallet! And, after 4.5 years of exchange gains, It’s now worth... (drumroll) ...$41.32

I briefly dabbled in it years ago. Switched my home servers from SETI to Bit Coin for a couple of months. Mined some partial coin and decided it was a waste of power if I couldn’t even generate a whole coin.

Wish I could remember that wallet now.

The default is “track me”. Changing the toggle in step 4, sets a cookie that says “don’t track me”. If you clear your cookies, you go back to “track me”.

I learned with 2 AAs & a 9 volt, while bored in a shop class, in jr. high. I will make no claims that this is actually “how most jugglers get their start” but I can guarantee you it isn’t with scarves. Nobody starts with scarves.

That would require your Roku to be in-line with your coax, which is highly unlikely. It doesn’t have any sort of hardware pass-thru like a cable set-top. The typical Roku setup is cat5/wifi-in, HDMI-out directly to a discrete TV input.

The only way Roku can know what you’re watching on another input, is if it’s listenin

Methinks you need to re-read his answer: 1 block spent pondering an accurate factorial, and nine minutes to spare.

100 1x1, 81 2x2, 64 3x3, 49 4x4, 36 5x5, 25 6x6, 16 7x7, 9 8x8, 4 9x9, & 1 10x10 = 385. And I have half a block left to ponder why I bothered to ponder.

Charles & Diana’s wedding. Followed shortly thereafter by Luke & Laura’s wedding (Can you believe the nerve of Scotty? Showing up like he did?)

Anybody doing lathe work needs to find the center axis of the material.

Looking forward to the results... I have a pair of Aukey EP-B13 which work really well in terms of sound, distance, battery life, etc. But they don’t fit my ears. I have to wear the damn things upside down just to get them in-ear; the angle of the insert just doesn’t work for me.

I concur. Once the CAH comes out, the party itself becomes secondary. To combat this it helps to think of CAH as the after-party, or nightcap, and not get started with it until the party is winding down organically.

How well does it work with mapping in 3D (i.e. the multiple levels of a townhouse, and the interference of a staircase or HVAC columns)?

I once did the math and determined I would get more entertainment value from skipping quarters across a lake. However, I do go in on office pools and the like because that contributes to group morale and a sense of community, which has it’s own esoteric benefits.

I concur. The fact that “to be throttled or not” is a consumer choice, and the throttling is applied indiscriminately across all content providers, actually makes this exactly what Net Neutrality is supposed to be.

How about finding duplicates? I’ve got several backups from each OS X upgrade, and now that my Mac is truly obsolete (can’t upgrade beyond Lion, can’t get latest iTunes, can’t sync/update iPhone with older iTunes, etc.) I want to consolidate documents & media files before migrating it all to a NAT for the rest of my
