+1 break of day

And then they changed the logo!

It’s not an “unwritten rules” thing. Larson put Busch into the wall, damaged his right front (the most sensitive-to-damage part of the car aerodynamically), and took away Busch’s ability to win the race with a clean pass. Since Larson took away his chance to win, Busch took it back in the only way he could with his dam

“They were ... high-fiving us as we left”

Do the Harry Potter books prominently feature slavery, racism and genocide self-mutilating shepherds?

Road America would need to redo basically every runoff area and rebuild their paddock facilities. I can’t imagine the financials will ever make sense for F1 at Road America unless Liberty decides to put up the money to make it happen.

Also for running people in small cars off the road when you decide to turn right across a solid white line. Not that that EVER happened to me... multiple times...

Since they’re in Korea, wouldn’t they have dug a hole to America?

Since when was going undefeated necessary for an SEC National Champion?

He’s also a 4th string QB who knows that this is likely his only chance to get a better deal and extend his career. He’s going to do whatever he can to try and prove that he’s able to go. Which is why it’s important to have UNCs with the power to make decisions regardless of how it may affect the game.

As long as basketball is a “sport for thugs” (ironic scarequotes very much intended), the NBA will never be a replacement for the NFL for blue-collar types

According to the interwebs (so take with a grain of salt) a fan threw a beer can at him. They do Victory Lane on the frontstretch at Martinsville right next to the fans, so it’s plausible.

Junior Mints? #1? Are you fucking kidding? Junior Mints?

Dumbest Talladega race I’ve ever watched, and that’s a high bar to clear

I kinda get why they would have a statement like that in their contract, specifically because they work in sports and entertainment. That would cover a journalist having to report on a video of Riley Cooper at a country concert, or having to watch The Wire, or any number of things like that. I can imagine HR folks

.

You pretty much can’t fuck with the spoiler or any of the non-adjustable aero devices. As an example, at Daytona and Talladega, you would be better off if your rear bumper cover fell off because it would create less drag. So if you get in an accident where that falls off, they’ll make you fix it. On other tracks,

NASCAR tears down the Final 4 cars prior to Homestead and transports the cars to the track themselves. So there will never be a champion who loses it due to a post-race inspection, because NASCAR already did tech before the race.

Race fans are always getting bent out of shape over something or another, regardless of which type of racing or sanctioning body you’re talking about

It’s the same as it was before it was called the “overtime line”, instead now there are unlimited attempts to make it to the white flag instead of only three.
