Is there a service that has rentals and is cheaper than buying? My audio habit tends to trashy stuff to listen to in the car or the gym, and I don’t anticipate listening to any of it a second time! The article says you can rent from Audible, but I don’t see any option to do that?

If the movie is about a run for the White House, it has to be called Legally Blonde 3: Blonde Ambition

Somebody should tell Carpenter he can’t dig up.

I was just about to ask this very thing. So thank you.

I have a modest proposal. Democrats should go ahead and vote on November 3rd. Republicans should wait a couple of months or so, say until February 2021.

My mom deserves a Ford Pinto.

I’m really frustrated with the physica/mechanical design of USB3. The connectors don’t seem to “grip” nearly as well as micro-USB, and are easily dislodged just by moving the cable a little, even at the far end. And on my MacBook they have an annoying tendency to pop out by about 1/8th of an inch: enough to break the

Maybe picky eating, but I can’t think of anything else that in hindsight I wish I’d fought harder for.

Fun fact: until quite recently (historically speaking) you couldn’t have “a” priority, or more than one priority. There was only “the” priority: the single most important thing to do.

Apparently, my wife is trying to prioritize every single object and piece of paper she owns...

In for 2. Heading to England and France later in the year with a phone, headphones, Macbook, and all the other typical stuff.

The other reason the US ended testing in 1996 is that computer simulations became good enough to make the armed forces confident that the warheads would work as designed.
