Those aren’t flying cars - they’re airplanes that started out as cars. You can’t drive them on the road anymore because of the huge wings.

The problem with having both an airplane and a car is that you have to drive the car to where the airplane is before you can fly.
KITT was almost a true flying car, actually. Unlike the others, he could launch himself into the air from a flat surface. The “official” explanation for how Turbo Boost works is that KITT has tiny downward-facing rocket jets, located just behind his front wheels.
The problem with these flying “car” concepts is that they’re not cars. It’s possible to build a true flying car, but not like this.
This article brings to mind one of my favorite (clean) Regular Car Reviews quotes: “Dodge Avenger - the car for people who’ve pretty much had it with cars.”
A Canadian dollar is 78 American cents. That US $1150 still less than CA $1500.

Congratulations... I think you might have found the best song in the world.
Breaking news: Her real last name is Jetson.
Incognito Mode is a thing.
I’m with Patrick. My first thought, upon reading the requirements, was Outback, but a Forester would work too, and is a little bit more upright.
It doesn’t look like the entire car was burned. I found a few closer photos. It’s a 2001-2005 Honda Civic, and most of the paint seems fine - only the hood appears to be burned, and it was probably taken from another car.
I’ll use duct tape.
I’m holding you to that the next time we take a road trip.

Damn, how have I not discovered this yet? I spent much of my childhood trying to figure out a remotely comfortable way to snooze in the back seat. Granted, I was much shorter than you for most of that time, but too often I ended up just piling up coats and stuff against the window, and it would all collapse every time…
Plot twist: it’s actually KITT in disguise.
An ancestor to the Toybota, perhaps?
Agreed! My Leaf also has auto lights but I’ve never once used them.
