Technically, that is what it means. But “electric car” and “electrified car” sound so similar that consumers are easily confused, which, I think, is exactly the idea. It’s just the latest ploy to keep selling gas-powered vehicles, hybrid or not, in one form or another.

You’re right, the Prius is still a step ahead, especially in the miles per gallon department. However, the Prius was introduced 20 years ago, and yet it seems they’re still trying to market hybrids as some new and exotic thing by using the term “electrified”. I don’t know who they’re fooling - anyone who’s looking for

Yup, that was a pretty good impression of a Russian troll. Well done.

Thank you for clarifying this! “Electrified” is essentially just the new word for “hybrid”, and any “electrified” car that still has a gas engine might as well be a regular old Prius. It’s like that “PZEV” sticker on late-model Subarus - it makes very little difference in the end. I just wish they’d stop confusing

The outside looks great, but...the inside is literally just a shelf and a couch.

Wow, why did I not see the original article? I could have complained about the time when, as a teenager (not that long ago), my parents and I were trying to navigate Edinburgh, Scotland in a rented Audi A6. Man, the GPS in that car was always wrong and would not shut up, even with 3 people shouting at it. It took us

Can PewDiePie just STFU already? After the whole Nazi business, he should know where he’s not wanted. At this point, he’s just giving YouTube a bad name.

That rear blind spot...no thanks. If I wanted to crash into someone while merging, I’d get a Camaro and at least look cool while crashing into someone while merging. (And no, despite technically being a millennial, I don’t think the hipster crossover look qualifies as “cool”.)

That’s true about tumbling. It’ll have a lot more air resistance during the time it spends parallel to the ground than it does when it’s diving straight down, or even backwards.

Old people can certainly enjoy muscle cars, but I seriously doubt dying was part of these guys’ plan for the day.

Exterior design: Lovely except that the beltline is too high. Visibility will suck.

Came here to comment this. Is it a purely self-driving car? If so, why does it have pedals? If not, how do you steer? I can’t see any part of that thing in front of the driver that could plausibly be a steering device. Even if it does go full Transformers, it seems like an unnecessary complicated way of doing things.

Since the Viper’s wing is all the way at the back, any downforce it experiences in mid-air would probably cause it to flip end over end as it falls.

It still has no vertical momentum. The time it takes to reach a vertical 60 mph will be the same, it’ll just hit the ground a little farther away from the cliff.

What’s the 0-60 time of a Saturn dropped on Saturn?

That means a Tesla P100D is actually faster horizontally than any other car is vertically.

Can we all just stop and admire the fact that one part of the Citadel has a belch as part of its name?

All the comments should be written like this.

And just this morning, in his review of the Chevy Bolt, Mr. Regular of Regular Car Reviews was complaining about the lack of EV charging infrastructure.

Wait...so they turned off automatic emergency braking to gather data on how it would perform if activated?
