Herbie Fully Loaded. Actually a great movie.
The Mustang was all right (although the transforming-into-other-vehicles nonsense was crossing the line) but it just didn’t feel like Knight Rider. It had its moments, but it didn’t have the charisma of the old show.
Okay. I know how to fix this idea. Have a seat, because this is a long and very opinionated rant:
Well, at least it can’t be any worse than Top Gear USA.
The last time? Hmm...maybe yesterday? The things are still pretty darn ubiquitous.
How about they offer a version of each model with the autonomous tech, and a less expensive version without it? Everybody can have the car they want, and everybody’s happy. Better yet, add the ability to retrofit it later in case they change their mind.
GAAAAH!
Guess I’m lucky that my happy place is already the car. Don’t care what’s outside - something about being behind the wheel just makes everything seem OK.
Does this mean awesome fast electric wagons? Because if it does, I am happy today.
Voltvo!
The electric I-Pace is the one I’m interested in. I know it’ll be expensive, and I know it’s still a crossover, but dang it all if that thing isn’t awesome!
I do still enjoy watching Cars 2, despite all its flaws. I wouldn’t recommend it to a friend (for a first-time viewer, I’d advise watching the first one and then skipping straight to Cars 3), but I’ve voluntarily seen it way too many times anyway.
I agree, Cars 2 seems to have a political message in there somewhere, but I can’t figure out what it is. Alternative fuel is good? Alternative fuel is bad? Billionaires are scam artists? Dents are valuable? Tow trucks should have rockets on them?
Mater was the main protagonist. Most of its other problems can be traced back to that fact.
I think you might be onto something here.
More to the point, why would he know what motor oil tastes like?
Can we stop using the term “alternative facts” and just go back to using the word “lies”? It’s much faster to type, and it means exactly the same thing.
