Fill the bottom drawer of your fridge with sand (about 2/3 full) and your root vegetables will keep in there for basically ever. You need to start with sterile play ground sand otherwise you risk creepy crawlies, or presents from neighborhood cats.

I used the previously mentioned "hack" of ordering the off menu short latte. I have to say, that is by far the best cup of coffee I have ever had at start bucks. If I have time to sit down, I will give this a shot and maybe it will top the already pretty good coffee:water ratio of the short.
