I stopped using Twitter a couple of years ago; I had been an eager user for a long time but my eyes were finally opened to the shallowness of the content and also their problematic policies. I knew people who complained about harassment on Twitter, and how they didn’t do anything about it on a corporate level. I said

Eerie, as I was planning to make tuna casserole tonight. I use my Instant Pot a lot for HB eggs. It’s great for doing a lot, but also good to use when I’ve got other stuff going on the stove, and especially now it’s summer and it’s hot so not using the stove any more than I have to is good.

Ham salad is wonderful as an occasional indulgence. A ham salad sandwich, with pickles, is a great lunch.

Homemade mayo. Always. I add chopped scallions to my tuna salad. And chicken salad. Turkey and ham, too.

A local distillery (Bloomery of WV) makes a ginger liqueur that makes a wonderful addition to a martini, especially with some lemon.
