@bookwench: Yes. This is a 13 episode series plotted in advance (rather than a 22 episode season which starts filming without the final scripts being written), guided by one show runner rather than committee, and largely financed by the license fee. Far less chance of dangling plots. :)

@WalterHand: Perhaps I misheard, but I was under the impression she addressed Liz Ten as "Ma'am."

@Chip Overclock: Interesting... I also talk to myself constantly. Either silently, in my own head, or out loud, when I think I'm alone. And I probably do the latter more when I'm fatigued. I've also been known to experience hypnagogic hallucinations, usually auditory. Hmmm.

@agentgray: There are many far worse movies. It's a lot better than the third one - good moments, but nothing special. Basically it's in the league above completely empty products like GI Joe or Transformers 2, but far below the first two Terminator movies.

I think I deserve a good slap for that blunder!

@ImJamesLindsay: In the UK there's no advice to completely abstain from alcohol during pregnancy - it wouldn't be considered at all unusual for a pregnant woman to have one occasional glass of wine.

@Grglstr: Quite. According to the reviews, the second Earth is "knocked out of its hidden orbit behind the Sun" and gradually gets nearer (while some pedestrian, seen-it-all-before navel-gazing plays out as the A-plot).

@ElimGarak: A minor point - I believe the Moon has 1/81 the mass of the Earth.

So this girl kills his family, goes to say sorry, shacks up with him instead, then gets a flight to Earth 2 where things happened differently (she probably died in the crash or something). Could be, uh, good, I suppose....

@MissBuckyC: City of Death is awesome. The Fourth Doctor and Romana in Paris! I just watched it for the first time in years (on VHS, for extra retro charm).

@Lassus: I don't turn off when the character is on screen (like I did with Donna), but I really don't like River Song.

Ah, thanks. Good point.

@MrGOH: I agree - I enjoyed Serenity, I thought it was fun. But it's a fun B-Movie, like Tremors. Even comparing it to something like Bladerunner is silly.

I like this list, although I only agree with some of it....
