I just finished the first mission in the expansion and this gun dropped for me within, I dunno, thirty seconds?

No, that's just a fraction of the money they get from the third-party publishers that Nintendo ignores.
All time? Wii is still behind the PS1 and PS2 in that regard.
Just talking home consoles, Nintendo has finished its second year with WiiU while Sony and Microsoft's consoles are at the end of their first. That initial launch year for consoles is usually light when it comes to titles released (just look at the Wii U's launch year) but, unlike Nintendo, PS4 and X1 have a lot of…
Not long for me. Maybe 15 minutes to get the patch and I was up and running. I've had no problems downloading, installing, or transferring my character.
MS goes all out during the holidays as expected but, as good as they are doing the last two weeks, they're still going to get trounced. Sony still has a 2:1 sales ratio globally and a one million unit lead in the US. And the WiiU will hit a surge of its own when Mario Kart releases. Not to mention the exclusive game…
You're more forgiving than I am; I quit CoD after Black Ops and haven't looked back since.
It may be Sony's platform but it's the publisher's game. It's understandable that Activision wants to squeeze every cent out of CoD and playing a new game on a friend's system from the comfort of your own home is a perceived threat to their bottom line.
But the WiiU doesn't get any of the huge games the other consoles get on a regular basis, including the holidays, so it evens out. No system is going to be left wanting for games; it's the same every holiday.
If LBP 3 isn't an exclusive because it's also available on last gen, is Forza Horizon 2 an exclusive? Halo: Master Chief Collection too? If not, then the number of exclusives on all 3 systems this holiday is pretty negligible.
One exclusive? You forgot about LBP3.
"...And the idea was, Scott Walker comes to the nearest state and that state, he'd start poundin' and hollerin' and screamin' and sometimes Walker would go away. Sometimes he wouldn't go away. Sometimes that Walker, he looks right into you. Right into your eyes. You know the thing about Scott Walker, he's…
Keep in mind, every game you mentioned is cross-gen. It's a little early to make a judgement on the current gen when only a handful of games are being made exclusively for them. I'd give it time.
Because, starting with the reveal, they've suffered so much already.
It's on last gen systems too.
I read he owns 71% of Mojang which translates to about $1.7 billion.
If we're only talking about new ip, remember that none of Sony's advertising for the game says it's only on PS consoles. This was true with Watch Dogs a few months ago and that game on both Xboxes sold around half of the PS versions. And that is why MS is shaking right now.
And Microsoft paid Ubisoft for Splinter Cell: Conviction. This entire situation is hilarious and the reason MS is sore is because timed exclusive content and PS branding is about to pay off big for Sony, even more so than MS buying TitanFall exclusivity from EA.
