You know what people? Medieval eras weren't easy mode. The fact that even a grunt can kill you makes me love the game even more, because there is no "oh whatever, this is no threat". That's the beauty of medieval warfare, everything can be defeated.

Dark Souls > Demon's Souls > Dark Souls II
How do most of you rank these games? I have a big soft spot for Demon's Souls, but acknowledge Dark Souls to be the most well-rounded. Dark Souls II had the best mechanics, I thought, but boring level design and plot—and just-as-laggy PvP.
Totally agree, except, at least for me, someone who doesn't play that many games, it was definitely difficult. I doubt I would have made it through some of the boss fights without help from other players.
Still, to me the attraction is not the difficulty, it's just that it's a truly mysterious, spellbinding world to…
Seriously though Demons Souls hipster master race.
one of the best series of games ever made
A few of my own:
Here's what you're missing about this: Android manufacturers will throw whatever tech they can into a phone just to be the first to have it, whether it's useful or not, whether it's even functional or not. Like auto-scrolling by eye-tracking that one of the Galaxy phones had. I tried to use that on several occasions…
Macs seem to keep their value a bit better. They also seem to last longer. I see people get 4 years of use from MACs and much less from other brands.
See, your mistake is in thinking that the tech comes from Android. It doesn't. It comes from Electrical Engineers who work for companies like TI, NXP, ST Micro, Analog Devices, Freescale, and Microchip. These technologies are then available to anyone who wishes to use them, and believe me, the sales reps for those…
You must only spend time in certain corners of the internet. Android fanboys are often just as bad. (Though they aren't quite as absurd at Google's events as Apple's fanboys are)
Arguments about the Apple Tax are stale, bordering on outright false. Apple products aren't necessarily overpriced. They're just expensive. The same quality laptop from a different manufacturer might cost you the same.
It's no secret that I'm an Android guy. I worked for two years at an Android-focused site and I own multiple devices…
Way better.
very good
To use your analogy, not everyone needs to know how to use a miter saw to cut and install moulding (programming), but everyone should know the basics of how shapes fit together, the "measure twice cut once" best practice, and how to plan a project like cutting moulding (computer science).
Given the very high decibel of the waambulance in this thread, I'm guessing I'm in the minority that thinks (no pun intended I double-dog, inky-pinky swear):
I agree with this sentiment. It was an amazing experience that I wouldn't mind staying in the back of my head being amazing.
I feel like people who claim they want an hd remake of ff7 only think that they they do. An hd re-release? That makes more sense. But a full on remake? Part of the the charm of the game is that it is a psone Era game, and I'm not sure how you retain that by making the visuals the comparable to current Gen…
If I could make one small change to the column, I would add a paragraph which read, "This beverage is not good and you should not buy it or drink it even if you are 'so-called edgy' and I am not saying that as some kind of reverse psychological ploy to get you to spend money on Red Bull Total Zero because this stuff…
