I was kind of disappointed in it, honestly. The menus are convoluted and unnecessarily deep. The gameplay, while fun and addicting, felt kinda weak since most normal battles can be breezed through on Auto mode. Plus, aside from the free daily draw, relics seem to me to be a hefty price (5 Mythril/$3.00)

I'm confused about why we still see explosions in space battles.

Would you say this is more for people learning to code in general, or learning App Dev specifically? I'm a front-end Web Developer but never went too far down the programming path, so I'm wondering if this would be a good place to start, or if It'd feel like a waste.

I haven't played it, but from what I've seen it's looking like they really are taking cues from the best FFs of the past and the best games of today. There's a reason everyone's in love with the summon effects, and it's because it's a great balance of nostalgia and wow factor. I mean, the game is gorgeous. However, it

I read this book a couple years ago and it truly changed my perspective on life. I recommend it to anyone looking for a more present, happy life.

Change scares you, doesn't it?

Its aged considerably, that's for sure. I guess it's kind of like comparing Final Fantasy II to Final Fantasy XIV, so what you said is fair. They have very different feels, but I think that has more to do with technology than anything else. I'd still say DeS is just as much built on KF as DkS is built on DeS.

Well I guess how much time you want to put into a game is personal preference. But the games are certainly not made to make your life easier :)

What makes the controls terrible? I admit my hand cramps up a bit because the shoulder buttons are tough to get used to, but they are really quite intuitive.

I've only played a little bit of the first two. Im not sure I would go so far as to say they "redeem" the rest of game, but they certainly didn't make it worse.

I pretty much agree with you. Personally, Dark Souls is my favorite, as it was my first step into the series. I would even rank it among my top 5 games of all time. Demon's Souls feels much less polished in comparison, but has really stellar characters. DkS II was a disappointment. They improved a lot of the

I almost agree. Demon's Souls definitely set the bar and was basically the skeleton that Dark Souls was built on. However, if you're going to bitch about what was first, I mean, what about King's Field? That was the real predecessor to it all, where you can trace back the core gameplay mechanics and even specific

Same here! Its very impactful. I want it in my apartment.

"An old trick we've seen YouTube'd to death"? You mean the "trick" that is ONE SERIES created by ONE popular content creator? Yeah.. SO overdone. I wish they'd just stop with that "trope", it's as bad as the harlem shake at this point!

While I don't necessarily hate QWERTY, I would really love for someone to design a keyboard that's easier to write code with. Semicolons and brackets are ESSENTIAL and tucking them away under SHIFT keys is kind of annoying.

Answered my own question... Didn't realize this was for the 6 Plus.

Can I ask why if there's a battery twice the size of the 5S in this thing were the stats revealed at the keynote so lackluster? Is that huge battery really just to power a slightly larger screen? They only reported a measly 2 hour boost to talk time.

Except we are boiling our oceans and cutting down trees at rather substantial rates. I understand what you're saying, though. Prohibiting deforestation is probably more efficient. But every little bit helps, right?

So... Why aren't we doing this on Earth first? Seems like a good way to try to undo the effects of Industrialization/Climate Change.

It's astounding to me how little Designers seem to care about this. It does affect a large number of people, men specifically, and it affects all forms of design from Web Sites and Video Games, to simply reading instructions for a TV dinner. I'm glad people are starting to take notice though. Great article!
