I'm amazed it's so difficult. Percents are just math! Computers rock at math, right? And if you know the total file size of a program, why's it so hard to say "well this file that I'm copying over now is x KB and the total for all the files is y MB, so that means the progress should increase by z %."?

Progress bar B is WAY worse. If it starts out quick, you expect it to continue at that pace, and when it slows to a crawl at some point in the process, it's like KILL ME NOW.

And douchebag commenter of the year award goes to......

This game will always be close to my heart. I think I'm going to cry when I finally get my hands on the HD release. The story is so gripping, and draws so many parallels to modern day society (religion vs. technology, advancement at the risk of morals, etc). Plus the music, like you said.

Six Ways to Pretend You Have a Better Memory

There's no fees. For anything. ATM, overdraft, etc. No fees. You also get updates immediately on your phone whenever your card is used — Great for keeping up with your finances and also for knowing exactly how much you can spend, as well as theft-deterrent. You can cancel your card from the app, if you feel it's

It's a hard "G" because it stands for GRAPHICS. Most of the examples of soft "G" gi- words (Gin, Giraffe, etc.) are rooted in French, and are pronounced as such. Graphics is rooted in Latin, and it's a gr- word besides.

Please repost this in a new thread so more people see it. These Jiffers need to be schooled.

It's awesome cardio. You can burn a pretty massive amount of calories, too. Some songs on the highest difficulty can burn upwards of 200 calories. For just a minute and a half of work, that's pretty astounding.

I got kinda far.. ONCE. I got up to one of the big baddies who could teleport around the stage and had these other "assasin" type characters with him. I could get him down to about half health but would eventually die. I really need to pick it up again.

Me too. I'm trying to pick it up again, to help me get back into an active lifestyle. Working out is not fun, but DDR?? DDR is a BLAST!

AH! I should have mentioned this in the TIPS section, but the other thing that can really help when you get to Heavy mode and beyond is to use the built-in practice mode. I forget what it's called, but there's options to slow down the song and also create a "clap" for each beat/arrow you need to hit. VERY helpful

The game has a sharp curve. I died many times trying to beat the second battle when I first played it back in 2000. So don't feel bad, you're not the only one. It's a seriously challenging game.

Dance Dance Revolution

Tell me Ashley Feinberg, why is this man somehow not deserving of the term "idiotic"? I mean, after your article about the woman who dared hold up the line because of her gun-shaped stilettos, I would have thought you would be defending the TSA! He should have known not to bring that kind of thing into an airport,

I'll play the game strictly for the job/battle system. But I'll probably beat FFX:HD long before I bother.

I didn't say anything of the sort. All I said was that theres a timeframe where you want to be cautious of spoilers, to be respectful. 10+ years falls well beyond that, in my opinion. Yes, there will be people playing this game for the first time, but by now they've probably already heard a lot about the game

Umm... what?

I agree with what StarMember said. (edited) Spoiler Alert! The game is old. I mean, think of a old movies like Back to the Future or Alien. If it comes up in conversation, people will talk about the ending. After a certain amount of time has passed, it's pretty much a given.
