@mrtatulas: Sorry, but as a designer, it should be clear to you that hese phones were not designed for the "average person". They are very obviously designed for people who appreciate the differences in life, and for those who revel in Art.

This is really fantastic work. The commentors who are saying its "pretentious" and "bullshit" simply don't understand the real meaning of Art or of Design.

@Zerø: I agree with what kyre is saying, especially when it comes to how the electric car would get cleaner as time goes on.

Is there any evidence suggesting who was behind this attack?

@Joe Burke Minor Jr.: Well, yes but... that's kind of the whole point. They're not selling the "Operating System", really. Its a netbook. And instead of a netbook that has a (basically useless) desktop and start menu, they've simply made the OS the ONLY thing you can really use a netbook for—The Net.

@KamWrex: I understand the need for one particular feature.. but this seems a bit silly. Maybe it's because I simply don't use bookmarks anymore (I only use them if I have to save a page for school or something), but I just think that the astounding number of other benefits from Chrome FAR outweigh this small thing.

WHEN!? I'm getting up to season 4 of Lost, and if I can get around downloading it, that would be FANTASTIC!

@Reutnes: @4thletter: I'm not saying everyone should love their job or magically find a new one if they need the money. All I'm saying is, whats the point in reading a blog which exists solely to complain? Don't we all HATE people who complain all the time? What makes this any different?

@terekidi: I agree with you. My boyfriend worked at Apple, and while he does think they can be really pretentious, he did love it there. What this guy complains about is common in a lot of retail jobs, and usually, its due to poor staffing.

If he hates working there so much, maybe he should just leave? :/ Who wants to listen to some kid rant like that? Jeez, I couldn't read more than two pages of that.

@skt.smth: Well, you're entitled to your opinion. I try not to make any judgments about the storyline of a movie until I've actually seen it. To be honest, I never even saw the original movie.... So I'm going into this with very minimal knowledge about the storyline.

@skt.smth: I think what you're missing is that the "minimalist stylization" is loved dearly by all the people who were growing up when this movie came out. It's a fond memory, now, and to see it revamped and more beautifully realized with today's technology is an awesome experience.

THAT

Love the ferry from Gaia to 4chan. Haha!

@haroldiv: its funny cause it'll probably happen tomorrow.

Sounds great to me.

Awesome article. Really. My school is filled with so-called "hipsters", and some might even say that I'm pretty close to being one myself, but it's always by people who have been treated with that same dismissive stereotype who say things like that. If you sit down and actually get to know them, you might find

Many typos in there, guys. :o Fix, please?

While I do agree that it's a little scary to think about cars driving themselves, the technology isn't too far away at this point.

This sounds a little risky. What about all of the marine life there? Isn't it reasonable to think they might be affected by this sudden temperature shift?
