This may not have flopped, but I had never heard of it before seeing it on TV. Anyway, Gunfu meets 1984!!

It's not strictly a genre show, but I have really fond memories of this from back in 1998. It's Jeremy Piven as a possibly crazy man who believes he's Cupid, sent to Earth as punishment until he makes 100 couples fall in love. I remember it being really good and then being cancelled very quickly; my wife and I both

And he's right. Star Wars is pure fantasy. Storytelling is first and foremost; The setting only serves to facilitate that storytelling.

Let's get Misfits of Science up and running again with Cox mentoring the new misfits. And I don't want it gritty like Alphas or The Tomorrow People. Good solid fun!

Geez, io9 sure does hate this movie. That includes just about everyone - the staff and commenters here. I know a lot of the article is tongue in cheek but let's be honest - it was still done as an excuse to trash the movie some more.
