I hope Nick isn’t getting trashed by people on social who can’t separate art from reality, because his work in bringing Nate and his arc to life has been absolutely stellar. Even when Nate is at his worst you can see layers - Nick communicates them so well.

I made the same comment (in the grays) but the character you are thinking of is Switch. Madonna bears a closer resemblance to the actress eventually cast as Switch (Belinda McClory).

I’m guessing it was the woman in white leather.  Can’t remember her name, but she seems like a better fit for Madonna than Trinity.

I think there’s a difference between critic and commenter in AV Club in that the critic writes the headline, steers the discourse and grades the episode. I get that grades are by no means an objective barometer but that still count more than whatever those down here in the fray have to say.
