Awesome thread, Great Job!
Because of this thread I recorded Leggero's 2011 special on comedy central…someone owes me 30 sad .minutes back! (it might have been an hour long but I gave up when she started "rapping"). I understand she is playing a character, but the anti-humor was Kaufmanesque. I hated it so much I had to immediately look up…
It was the Galactoids!
as seen in the documentary series "Superjail", where they came back for Dave too.
Just another +1 "hell yes"
I'm really looking forward to this. The "First Law" books are amazing, like all the highlights of "Game of Thrones" distilled and sped up. The ending manages to be both cynical and very satisfying (I especially like the symmetry in Logen's first and last scenes).
I vaguely remember having one sing the same song the entire way through Baldur's Gate II as well.
Help the author
Apparently, Peter Beagle was screwed over on both this film and his LotR screenplay. If you are planning on buying this DVD, the only way he will see any money from it is if you buy from him: http://www.conlanpress.com/…
damn fine year
Bjork, Portishead, Erykah Badu, and Wu-Tang are all still in my rotation.
The perfect ending
I was hoping this was Carell's last episode, and the character just walks away from the gas station and is never found.
Serape dogs
A hot dog, slice of cheese, and salsa rolled up in a tortilla. Bonus points if the hot dog is the kind that comes injected with a cheese-like filling.
"We even have a very special, very familiar guest lined up" How can that not be Him?
The elf on a shelf
is a thing, apparently. Good to know if the old-fashioned trauma techniques start to lose their effectiveness…
I vaguely remember playing the first DKC, but after reading this article I really want to go back and check out Donkey Kong Country 2: http://www.sirlin.net/artic…
looks like it will be available in the US next month:

Maybe she was cleaning them with some vinegar or baking soda. I didn't catch what he was saying but I assumed he was complaining about the taste.
Damn good!
Despite picking up 5 new albums this week, I've been more or less keeping "As We Enter" on repeat. There are a few filler tracks but I think I already like it even better than Jamrock.
I could have sworn I actually watched a Muppet award show when my kids were smaller (with Jon Stewart no less). Turns out it was only http://muppet.wikia.com/wik…
Man, now I want to see Aronofsky remake Beastmaster
