You’re assuming they have or can even get the parts they need AND that they have the staff/space to perform those repairs. These planes are also likely some of the less efficient ones, so the economics might not work out yet on them.
$200m+ is the list price, but no one pays that, especially when you’re buying 100. Depending on which variation they purchased, they probably paid more in the $100-$125m range. Still a ton of money
Your windshield serves as not-insignificant part of the safety of your car in an accident, I wouldn’t be so cavalier about leaving it as is. More to the point is that most auto insurance will let you add full-glass replacement (at low/no cost) for almost nothing
