Some of that is self perpetuating though. Like when there was the Toyota Matrix and Pontiac Vibe(?), the Toyota consistently received better quality/longevity rankings despite them being identical. I think a large part of that is Toyota owners know the reputation and take better care of their vehicles.

Farms are absolutely a great use case for this, not just pig farms but also dairy farms. There is a huge dairy farm about an hour south of Chicago that has had one for years.

Humans insist on putting a lot of weird stuff into the drains which isn’t going to help. Medications, chemicals, fats, ‘flushable’ wipes, etc. By the time you account/adjust for those it likely isn’t worth the effort.
