The first game and its DLC had unanimous praise. Practically the first footage of the game that started with Dina and Ellie dancing and kissing are massively upvoted.

Why they thought spending half the game as Abby and her dull crew was a good idea... I will never know.  Terrible.  Just terrible.

I could be brave and make a WW2 game with butterflies and dragons, that doesn’t make it good.

Haha, good luck fellas. “Hey lets take the nuanced world that gives its audience credit to understand its world and then make a hamfisted sequel with themes we already explored but act the audience never thought of it.”

Its not a loss of twists and surprises. The core story is already following a theme explored in the first game without hammering the audience over the head with it.

I think this list in reverse would be better than in it proper order.

Its definitely on the cusp. Its almost the worst sounding trash I have ever read as far as leaks are concerned, and sadly when leaks sound bad, almost always the end product is as well.

This game is a complete disaster. Jason’s article with this quote in regards to poor focus tests for the game and an increased workload “Parts of the narrative weren’t resonating with players, who said they weren’t fond of characters that the writers hoped would be likable”.

Thats what I was saying. The game is a disaster. The fact there are lesbians is benign and some folks will cry about it, but its not even on the radar for why the game looks trashy.

Id wait until you actually see it.  Sure you will always get some people whining over usually benign things, but after seeing all the leaks.... this game looks like a disaster.

I can’t stand this game.  Everything is so drawn out to extend playtime, it drives me insane.

The haunting for me begin and ends with pacing and design. Half the game feels so intentionally drawn out, and the middle chapters are quite possibly the worst Final Fantasy has ever been.

The Aerith chapters are so damn slow.  I almost quit playing the game they sucked so much.

So they are shooting jellybeans at each other or something, cool. Sounds definitely worth handing over all of your personal information to the Chinese government.  What a trash game.

FFT is awesome.  If you haven’t, go play Tactics Ogre, its even better.

I wouldn’t wish UC4 upon anyone.  That game sucked big time.

Been waiting 20 years for this, since those ps1 games aged pretty poorly. It was one of the greatest games ive ever played on release (honestly even having a bigger impact on me than RE4 did on GC), so im damn excited for this.

Most memorable villain in games, and the best RE title (at least for its time).  Im so pumped for 3.

Fromsoft is better with environments and so on, but nothing touches Nioh in the gameplay department.  Best in class.  The first in my favorite in genre.
