Even the positive reviews are talking about how controversial the game is going to be and how they expect a lot of people to hate it.  Just seems like its going to be that type of game.

And yet its open for all other news. That’s what makes it notable and/or sad. 

I also love how their official statement on their website has comments disabled. Was the only post I could find where they actually disabled it.

Seems like misdirection to me. I am curious how they plan to finish burning the originals to ash though. I expect the most colossal of trainwrecks here. I mean were going into a final movie where the villain is a huge underdog.

So everyone involved is a giant douchebag is basically what it looks like.

Random powerups to help weaker players for no reason is a pretty good way to make a game suck.

FF8 is such a gem.  Character growth is a joyous thing.  Squall is the best protagonist they have ever written.

I see we found the most delicate flower in the garden. Keep yelling into the void because your safety bubble was infringed upon by actual decent people you wish to demonize.

You must have missed the part where they were offered the slot, agreed to it, then pulled at the very last minute and not given a reason. This after advertising to their audience and spotlighting PAX. That is as shady as busines practices come.

They invited them, took their audience and advertisements, and then cancelled them at the last minute without explanation. That is about as unprofessional as you can possibly get.  To defend that is.... well you look like a moron.

Their controllers aren’t good enough.

She may not have the best technique, but few things are as satisfying or therapeutic as Lara planting one in some guys dome.

Just launched the game for the first time in at least 3 or more years (I just played for a month or two when heavensward came out). I just wanted to close it and start crying.

That’s basically exactly what it is. Just note that it is forced upon you when you follow the main quest. Which is to say you’ll do some solo quests, then you will have to do a group dungeon or something, and that needs to get done before the next solo parts of the main story will unlock.

If it were simply an art style change or something it would make sense. They have simply gone out of their way to change anything they view involving violence and sexuality, full stop.

Had to laugh at the changes and the pr response. I don’t play Hearthstone so I don’t really care, but boy that is sad.

They mean that as in it not being used to make a statement or preach to the audience. An error is how people percieve the use of the word “politics” in games, where it is universally applicable.
