It was set up as an ensemble where everyone was meant to be equally so to speak. At least thats what they said pre-release. As another example, Watchmen was crafted that sort of way. The writer provided several distinct personalities and wanted the audience to connect with or attach themselves to whomever they related…

Halo 5's campaign was a real disappointment, but hey..... its still better than Destiny.

That has always bugged me. Baltheir, Ashe and Basch are so central to the story. Any of them should have been more of a primary protagonist than Vaan.

Campaign was a narrative disaster. Multiplayer was crippled with netcode issues. The base latency before even factoring in individual connection is absurdly high, and in modern cod style, they had made the game more close quarters than older games, making that even more impactful.

Holy shit this is pure gold.

There are definitely some moments with solid writing (particularly since this game is absolutely insane in scale/content, so there has to be some), but for most of the playtime, I find it heavily lacking. 50 hours in so far now and the effort feels amateur on so many levels.

They did a great job on it.

Ive put in about 40 hours so far, haven’t finished yet, but just about everything in this game is a letdown. I can hardly think of a single thing it does better than the other games.

It was probably the worst I encountered (though I never had to deal with failure), but this game has no shortage of flaws. Its a solid title, but acting like its perfection is absolutely batshit crazy to me.

Good: At times is some of the very best and thrilling MP out there.

I think its a bigger problem that people feel forced to group when they don’t want to do so. If they weren’t as motivated to do so, then the people in MP games would be far more interested in actual MP play.

I think id rather off myself than subject myself to more horse riding than necessary. The control is abysmal.

Interesting read. Im curious if being a petite female as you say, makes those pills much stronger in comparison to their likely target audience.

Im more excited to see if it matches the hype, or if biases and brand inflate the hell out it like like Skyward, Bio Inf, UC4 just to name a few.

I highly recommend checking out the GBA games and the GC/Wii duo. Conquest has top tier gameplay, but Fates story is the most awful thing I have ever witnessed. Feels like some childish anime joke.
