There are definitely some moments with solid writing (particularly since this game is absolutely insane in scale/content, so there has to be some), but for most of the playtime, I find it heavily lacking. 50 hours in so far now and the effort feels amateur on so many levels.

Ive put in about 40 hours so far, haven’t finished yet, but just about everything in this game is a letdown. I can hardly think of a single thing it does better than the other games.

It was probably the worst I encountered (though I never had to deal with failure), but this game has no shortage of flaws. Its a solid title, but acting like its perfection is absolutely batshit crazy to me.

Good: At times is some of the very best and thrilling MP out there.

I think its a bigger problem that people feel forced to group when they don’t want to do so. If they weren’t as motivated to do so, then the people in MP games would be far more interested in actual MP play.

I think id rather off myself than subject myself to more horse riding than necessary. The control is abysmal.

Its almost certainly online DRM. If you are connected, you can play anything as long as you are subbed. As soon as you are subbed or offline, titles wont be playable.

I love the Banner Saga games. Everyone should play them.

It only takes a few minutes to level units up to something like 10, and that comes at a single stamina cost for the first and second tiers of the tower.
