Adding stakes is great for adding to the intensity of the experience, but $10 for a game that locks you out permanently. Not a chance id play that. Ever.

Great reporting. I feel like a horrible human being, but I got a tinge of pleasure hearing about Bungies suffering considering what Destiny turned out to be.

SW has been pretty barren as far as Jean goes, and that makes me sad. Gonna have to pick this up.

I can’t think of a game that has had bigger loading issues than Destiny. The cumbersome nature of orbit, combined with the raw time is just awful.

Reaper of Souls. The xpac was good, but it was actually the first patch after the xpac where D3 finally became amazing. At this point its easily the best arpg ive played in my life.

The fact Blood Dragon or D2/D3 aren’t here is just.... wrong. Not opinion. Wrong.

It can be part of the genre. Just a key example of a bad version.

The overall cost isn’t untrue, but Destiny has a fraction of the content of many MMO’s. A nature of being an FPS and the difficulty of adding new content (as you know a common 6 hour campagin can take years for many of them).

A game where most people already have a disc or digital version got a lot of downloads on day 1.

In trying to not be a subscription game, their model ends up being even more cruel and greedy.

Banner Sagaaaaaaaaaa.

You aren’t wrong. Their general control has never been good. Without Vats Fallout would lose at least a full review point from everyone, if not more lol. Its practically unplayable as an fps.

They probably haven’t changed it up all that much, but considering how good that formula has been in the past, I dont find it too concerning. I guess it depends how much you like the previous stuff.

Haha wow. They cover a number of genres, and are the cream of the crop in their fields. Id suspect most gamers would be getting at least one of them.

Isn’t that Tomb Raider and Fallout? Most packed day in gaming history.

Playing Destiny and preordering. There are two large mistakes here.

“Accidental” he hehe heheheehe

Edgarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Totally. I was shocked that even with the strong levels, it felt like slogging through mud.

I found the mission design in BO2 to be of a very high quality, but the story itself is the worst in the entire franchise. Its so unfathomably stupid I don’t even have the words.... Not to mention how it attempted to drag the exceptoinal BO1 through the mud with it.
