It said "New" Trout Farm, and - as mentioned in the review - the accident supposedly did happen in Twin Peaks. So I'd guess Stanton unknowingly has some kind of "cosmic" connection to the events/forces/whatever involved in the story.

That really confused me because I thought Stanton's trailer park was in a different state in FWWM. Did he coincidentally move to Twin Peaks? I guess that makes sense if his character has some kind of powers.

And presumably she'll eventually take over her mom's business.

Maybe he knows wh his biological father is and decided to take his name.
