The black community has a serious issue when it comes to homo/transphobia. I don’t see it improving at all until the community starts moving away from toxic repressive religious beliefs and changes it’s culture of anti-queer bigotry from within. Unfortunately, I don’t see that happening anytime soon.

The one that took me out was “She’s not old enough to be...” The girl is 19. lol  Talking about her like she’s 4 years old.

I think it is hard to blame companies for not wanting to send their female employees to Georgia. What if, god forbid, one of their pregnant employees miscarries, and these dolts refuse to do an abortion because the fetus “might still be viable”? Or their employee gets charged with murder for miscarrying? Gets raped…

I am glad Mr. Wayans stood up to those idiots. Time is too short. Just love your kids, family for what they are, not for whom they sleep with. Enough already. As I said, time is too short. Tomorrow is not promised. 

Each one of these gets harder. There’s never even enough outrage to hope for justice. Black people have so much collective PTSD that they start believing some of the unfortunate ones deserved their tragic fates. It’s terrible all around.
