Exactly! I don’t know how you view that ending and not chalk it up as a win for the women of Westeros. For fucksakes, the lords laughed their asses off at the notion of democracy, how could anyone expect gender equality to form over night?

It was also very slow. Did we need to see Tyrion making his way through the basements the red keep before finding Jaime and Cersei, did we need to see him moving soooooo many bricks? Everyone walking so slowly to do things.
Same. It’s just... Dany’s whole thing since she got her dragons was that being the Queen of the 7 Kingdoms was her birthright and destiny, even though A) the people mostly did not want her, B) she had never been to Westeros until like last season, and had basically no knowledge of their issues or cultures, and C) her…
Sansa is Queen in the North, and didn’t “thank her rapist”, but said that adversity she had to overcome strengthened her.
Arya’s off exploring the edge of the world.
Brienne is Lady Commander of the Kingsguard and a member of the privy council.
Yara rules the Iron Islands.
But Daenerys went tyrant, so somehow the finale…
All the complaints about this season can be summed up in two words; rush job. They rushed the ending for some reason, and it ruined what would have been an awesome story. I WANTED to see Dany’s descent into crazy town. I wanted it to mean something.
That is adorable! Can’t go wrong with free food.

He did! Spoiler alert: it was almost ruined by a woman the kids thought he was marrying that turned out to be his sister (special guest voice Jane Lynch).
MR. RATBURN FUCKS, GET OVER IT BAMA
Oh, fucking look, Alabama takes the shit cake again. If news was Mad Libs, I’d be very good at it at this point.
I remember when the original “Tales of the City” miniseries came out and some PBS stations, as in this situation, made a kerfuffle about not showing it because of the LGBT content. The result was that it got a lot of press and that’s the only way I found out what “Tales of the City” was and that it was something I…
Alabama and Mississippi have always been jockeying for worst state. Florida is the craziest state. It’s also terrible. But not as bad as those two.
What the hell is happening in Alabama? I’m worried about their health and if it’s contagious.
Arthur is still on! I loved that show way more than my kids did. They’re teens and 20s now, so it’s been a while. I’m happy Mr. Ratburn found love and is married. I hope he had a spectacular cake!
Alabama is truly doing its best to claim the worst state prize away from Florida. I feel almost progressive living in NC by that standard.
