This happened to me twice this year, and one of the dreams was a nightmare. Never happened before.

This is so me. I’ve grown to really just wanting a mediocre life. After all, by definition most people are average. I’ve gotten sick of and angry at the implied social expectation of striving to be/appear “better” than other people.

I think it’s because we’ve been told for a while now that nursing is a stable good paying career with benefits.

Yeah, reading the replies here has surprised me. I knew I was missing something. Now I’m like “well no wonder uber is so popular.”

Yikes. That seems to be what most people are telling me, that cabs take too long and are difficult to order/confirm.

This is kinda off topic, but why are so many people taking uber/lyft instead of cabs? And aren’t cabbies union? Why does it seem like people are suddenly seriously anti cab? I can see the utility for places under serviced by current cab companies, but that’s about it. I feel like I must be missing something.

Um? I got a job eventually? Not in my field. Underemployed. So kind of a success story. Eventually you’ll need to take whatever job just to pay bills, and there’s no shame in that.
