EXACTLY! I've watched a few play throughs and just couldn't see the scary in it. But then I've only been to Chucky Cheese as an adult.

The industry has no rules. Feel free to make whatever games you want to make. Go do it. I think you'll find the problem isn't what publishers are making but what people are buying. Publishers make what people buy.

Coincidently just before Dying Light release I finished Dead Island and started playing Riptide. I was really glad Dead Island was over because I was getting bored and I stopped playing Riptide because I just couldn't take any more of it. Very repetitive and I felt like an errand boy for everyone.
