Notice that game designer (which house the creative brains to conceptualize the game itself) are some of the lowest paid jobs on the list. Can you say f*cked up industry??

Dark Ages still exist.

C'mon. The most American game is ...

I found that basically pointless. Boo hoo, big AAA games overshadow smaller more meaningful games. Mindless media and buyers flock to them. So what's new about that? Big action movies overshadow small indie movies, big book publisher overshadow small ones, empty calorie candy overshadows nutritious brussel

Costume Quest 2 on Halloween right? I think that's what Tim said.

How is this not here? THE SHOVELER!

I don't know if I would consider this a barn find. More like a collection sale.

I REALLY wanted to like Guacamelee but the controls drove me nuts. That weird slide/roll thing.

...and yet they keep coming. Layoffs, long hours, short deadlines are the reality of game development. Yet people think of it as a "dream job" and head off to get a computer science degree like lemmings off the cliff.

It seems if we can't have both then there is a problem. Either the console is a dog or the devs didn't optimize their game. When you're developing you have to give and take to get the best frame rate at the higher resolutions. Seems that giving a choice gives devs an excuse to be lazy. Just like back in "the day".

Blizzard has stolen a ton from Warhammer over the years. Not that they were doing anything successful with it in video games. Dawn of War aside. :P

Is Heroes of the Storm not even a challenger? I've never played any, just asking.

Game music is like the annoying person in a movie theater telling you what's going to happen. 90% of the time when I'm playing something I start hearing the tense combat music before I even realize I'm in combat. You learn to use it as a

Oh Adam. To me you will always be the guy on G4 that sat next to that hot girl.

Wake me when they start a new single player game. *turns and plays Skyrim some more*

If I had a dollar for every time I was told I was the final hope...

Typical D-bag response. Bravo

I don't understand. This is exactly the same as WoW, EVE, etc. Why is this a surprise???

These poor NPCs. Totally unaware that they are living in a doomed world. Let us hope the end is swift.

I would think that as a company Kickstarter would be concerned how this will change the consumer's view on their product. I've backed several Kickstarter projects and none have made their way to the marketplace yet. For me personally the Kickstarter novelty has certainly worn off. I'm done backing any projects.
