It seems if we can't have both then there is a problem. Either the console is a dog or the devs didn't optimize their game. When you're developing you have to give and take to get the best frame rate at the higher resolutions. Seems that giving a choice gives devs an excuse to be lazy. Just like back in "the day".…

I would think that as a company Kickstarter would be concerned how this will change the consumer's view on their product. I've backed several Kickstarter projects and none have made their way to the marketplace yet. For me personally the Kickstarter novelty has certainly worn off. I'm done backing any projects.
