@Jonas: and the "water planet" with the underwater city would be, well, the bits of Naboo from Episode I

Is that last screenshot for The Potter Identity? Very secret agent...
@n3onkn1ght: That was absolutely fantastic, especially the look on his face at the end when his co-worker has fallen asleep watching Daisy's video. Also that episode had a cameo from The Master!
Also, Killer Croc was done in the miniature "Gotham Knight" run that linked the first film to the second... he was a criminal with a skin disease hyped up on the Scarecrow's fear serum...
"internet's pension to blow things wildly out of proportion" should be "internet's penchant to blow things wildly out of proportion"
@UndeadJokesJokes: but with superheroes.
Why is Chuck Greene Aaron Eckhart?
@syafiqjabar of Mars: The opposite. Just regular horses and domestic cats and hedgehogs. The occasional bungalow. But underwater.
@RickyMack: Christina Hendricks. Done deal.
@TemporalSword: I also pledge my allegiance to the King in the North. Winter is coming, and its frost shall drive the dragonspawn to the farthest reaches of exile.
@evildead1971: or a non-event
@dowingba: I can picture him in an Ascot
I remember getting the original Megazord for Christmas... I couldn't make the Tyrannosaur head fold into the chest properly so my uncle (in his infiinite wisdom) took a saw to its jaw. For a sweet half hour he thought he was amazing and that I had the only functional Megazord in the land, until I finally figured out…
@LittleDragon: Book is now out in the UK as Trjn said and I thought I better put up a pic anyway to show the cover...
@curphs: I should point out my copy arrived today.
I absolutely love Pratchett and have the utmost respect for him. Rnadom question though - why is the American cover for "I Shall Wear Midnight" so bad? The Nac Mac Feegle look like a Photoshop nightmare! The covers are part of the whole Discworld feel, from the older psychotic art to the newer stylised but very…
Am I the only one thinking "crossover"? Marty and Doc end up in prehistoric times, a baby dino gets in the backseat of the Delorean as they escape and then it is stolen by John Hammond for use in his extraordinary new theme park experience.
International sales are not necessarily going to be bad, especially over here in the UK - "from the director of Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz" packs a lot of punch in the UK...
@Deadsider: The Automata series arose after a reader poll. Also, the current run of Automata is not being done by the Penny Arcade guys - it's the equivalent of people using guest comics while they're at cons.
@Cake Tank!: The one I always remember is from GTA Vice City. I inadvertently crashed my plane next to a building surrounded by a wall. There was no way out but there was a big sign on the wall reading "You shouldn't be here". Which was nice.
