@dowingba: I can picture him in an Ascot

I remember getting the original Megazord for Christmas... I couldn't make the Tyrannosaur head fold into the chest properly so my uncle (in his infiinite wisdom) took a saw to its jaw. For a sweet half hour he thought he was amazing and that I had the only functional Megazord in the land, until I finally figured out

@LittleDragon: Book is now out in the UK as Trjn said and I thought I better put up a pic anyway to show the cover...

@curphs: I should point out my copy arrived today.

I absolutely love Pratchett and have the utmost respect for him. Rnadom question though - why is the American cover for "I Shall Wear Midnight" so bad? The Nac Mac Feegle look like a Photoshop nightmare! The covers are part of the whole Discworld feel, from the older psychotic art to the newer stylised but very

Am I the only one thinking "crossover"? Marty and Doc end up in prehistoric times, a baby dino gets in the backseat of the Delorean as they escape and then it is stolen by John Hammond for use in his extraordinary new theme park experience.

International sales are not necessarily going to be bad, especially over here in the UK - "from the director of Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz" packs a lot of punch in the UK...

@Deadsider: The Automata series arose after a reader poll. Also, the current run of Automata is not being done by the Penny Arcade guys - it's the equivalent of people using guest comics while they're at cons.

@Cake Tank!: The one I always remember is from GTA Vice City. I inadvertently crashed my plane next to a building surrounded by a wall. There was no way out but there was a big sign on the wall reading "You shouldn't be here". Which was nice.

@Vysion: He's not the devil, he's a very naughty boy!

@jabber: You should read "Spares" by Michael Marshall Smith, a fantastic book that begins with the whole "clone farms" thing and evolves from there. Not sure if this is what the Island and this new film are all riffing on but I know it's nothing like the Island in its portrayal of the clones...

Messiah secrets revealed: I can walk on water because Aquaman gave me dolphin stepping stone. Which is also how I had so many fish to feed people. Which is also how I was able to make water change substance.

@Karoshi: I have a party of only three (takes me back to the FFVII days):

@CrazyHaze: Having worked in a gaming store, I know that 2-4pm is pretty dead. I imagine they think that putting this time limit on will get people in at the quieter times.

At last, my dreams of having Juri duke it out with Hwoarang to see who is the true Taekwondo master are to be realised!

@OMGLX: In fact, Where The Wild Things Are, which you mentioned before, is the perfect film to illustrate the relationship between CG and practical arts, as the faces of the monsters were produced in CG. I do think that film makers are throwing money at CG where a decent model or suit could do a better job - also CG

@JokerOfSpades: I like Smarties! Besides, they're one of the only sweets where you can close the tube again. Plus, they probably taste different in the US...

Bah, if you want to impress a girl and have no money it's simple and requires only a couple of quid and a bit of time.
