Where’s your script for a Blue State vs Red State civil war movie then?

He’s quite clearly talking about the way things should be, but instead the polarization has made it a battle between good and evil in the eyes of each side.

Anyone who was anxiously awaiting some of Red State vs Blue State war movie can choke on their dissapointent. A fantasy movie where people get to see their political opponents annihalted sounds more like propaganda than a movie with anothung useful to tell anyone.

If you want a Civil War movie where you get to see a fantasy war where the Democrats blow up all the Republicans, or vice versa, then you can write it. But what the hell use would that movie be except at some kind of political masturbation?  

What a load of shite. Where do you get this “one side of our politics is far more radicalized and eager to embrace violence than the other side”? What side are you talking about? In this movie Texas and California team up to try to bring down a fascist President.

One way to look at Paul is that he was not really supposed to be the Chosen One, as Jessica broke the Bene Gessrrit grand plan by having a son. His lust for vengenance means rather than being a Messiah he ends up being a very bad thing for the Fremen and humanity.

They certainly can’t have the Fremen kill 60 billion people in the next movie. They’ll have to tone down the impact of the jihad.

People getting upset because ‘The Fremen are clearly Arabs (or Amizigh), why aren’t all the actors Arab and why is their Messiah white?” are going to freak the fuck out if Dune 3 follows the books and has the Fremen on a jihad that commits genocide and kills billions.

The season was compromised by the demands HBO placed on it. It was supposed to be an original storyline but HBO wanted to reboot True Detective so the story got butchered with callbacks to Season 1. Are they going to pull this nonsense with White Lotus and other properties when they are desperate to keep franchises…

Yeah, I think a lot of people don’t realise that HBO demanded that Issa López graft on TD Season 1 references that had no place there. It ruined the story and it’s HBO’s fault.
