European awards voters (and the Brits are European whether some of them like it or not) would be more influenced by the ongoing war in Ukraine than Hollywood voters would be. I don’t think it indicates so much for the Oscars.

The odds are that they will be better yes. But we’ve had some really disapointing actors and musicians too. Comedians are the best bet.
