2022 Ford Maverick XL 2.0T - $290 per month
Maintenance nightmare. CP. I’ll take my E39 M5 with a side of seat twist.
0.9% @ 60. Traded in a 2022 Bolt EV I made money on.
2023 Bolt EV - $235 per month leased
Yes and no. We are in a 2023 replacement vehicle for our 2021 collateral swap due to the battery recall. GM gave us the $12,000 difference in price, cash, but our lease buy out price is the same as it was for the 2021 $43,000 Bolt, not the 2023 $31,000 Bolt that we received.
I’d say $235 a month for a $43k car with no money down is pretty financially responsible.
Drove one of these down the Mississippi delta and it had a bad CV axle. 7 hours of sounding like I was hugging onto a small planes engine. Worst car ever. Rental agency insisted that I pull over when they heard it over the phone.
Too true. I purchased a 1990 Trans Am GTA with a 1994 LT1 from a Corvette when I was still in high school and into college (2005-2006). No speedometer and a few crazy bugs but that T/A was a blast.
Between this and removing CarPlay, GM has lost a household.
My wife and I are on our 4th Bolt EV (two due to buy backs), and she is dreading turning this lease in next April. Everything from the Mach E to the Model 3 are all $40k+ vehicles and while we can afford it, buying a vehicle over $30-35k is just outside of our goal to be financially reasonable. We also had a Fiat 500e…
Don’t bother without the Outlander PHEV drivetrain
Oh man! When he says “as well as the LS400 and Q45" and that tester slams the Buicks door. What a laugh.
Ooof. That’s gonna be a no thanks for me. Ruins the entire point of the vehicle.
Ended up just buying a euro Focus ST steering wheel for my Maverick. I’ll dream the dream:-)
Trying to think of something of value I can add to this but what comes to mind: booooohoooo
Statistically aren’t all the loud colors the least sold?
I’d rather drive my Maverick than a Focus/Fiesta. I believe they are catering to what the customers demanded. I would love to see some nice Lincoln sedans, but let’s be real, I’m not buying one.
Research and ordering ahead. Ended up with Fords 0.9% financing too!
