Recently picked up an 03’ Mazda B2300 regular cab with the newer DOHC 2.3 duratec and 5 speed stick. 56,000 miles for $4,000. I’ve owned many vehicles but there is just something about clicking through the gears, with the windows cranked down in this honest truck that really makes my day.

Had the same door issue with a 98’ 5.9 Limited, what a pain in the ass. Was the most annoying of the issues, which included a worn out viscous coupling and a transmission that loved to slip no matter how many rebuilds it had. Miss that Jeep.

Nice price, but for maintenance purposes I would go for the 2000 Green Label and it’s easier to service BMW engine.

A 2002 LX470 has been my on and off daily driver/weekend vehicle since 2015 and has been the best auto I’ve ever owned. I’ve had an 88' XJ and a 98' 5.9 ZJ and they pale in comparison to the 100. If you can ignore the naming of each initiative, the Cadillac’s have been steadily evolving since Art & Science. The cars have toned down the sharp looks and improved quality with each generation. I’d argue the opposite with other brands such as BMW.

5 speed is the deciding factor, plus the Kia dealerships are not selling Rio’s for $10k. If I’m going for basic POS, I’ll take mine with a stick.
