Since late 09 I’ve owned a 1997 C5. My hunt was for a 94-96 C4 but at the time I stumbled across this C5 and it was way under priced. Now I never drive the C5 any longer...looking to sell it. It’s a great car and very fun but at the end of the day it just doesnt do something that the C4 does and it does so many things

A good friend in LA sent me this picture last week!

Nothing a good tuner can't fix

They tend to do this with powertrains too. It’s almost exactly like Intels “tick, tock” in regards to upgrades/redesigns.

Here in Florida we get all the world’s crazies.

Born and raised, Broward County, Fl. 1987. The Donk trend originated here in south Florida and I’ve never heard anyone from here refer to anything other than 1970-1976 Fifth gen Impala/Caprice twins as “Donks”. Car magazines started calling everything on giant rims Donk and its spread ever since :-(...

If I’ve learned one thing when buying E39's, it’s that once you find a pristine one and pay for it you’ll never get anything close to what you paid when reselling...E39's sit on CL and Autotrader for months. CP all the way! Plus those seats always freaking twist like crazy!

How does the interior smell?

Yes that’s great but you have to understand the question at hand is “What is your greatest automotive letdown”. Mine happens to be every Chrysler product I’ve owned or driven, I’ve yet to drive that Viper but early 90's RT10 Vipers are a a rattling mess. (Not that I wouldn’t own one).

Your correct, I was ambiguous and I did drop a blanket but my personal experiences with a long list of Chrysler corporate products spanning from the Lebaron, XJ and ZJ, Sebring, Charger, and Fiat have all been plagued with issues from the onset.

Anything Chrysler related.

That things huge. Must have expected power steering to fail!

Every single one rots at the corners where the horn buttons are so you eventually lose the horn.

Maybe it was named Seven by George Costanza...it's a beautiful name for a boy or a girl!

Willing to bet those Lexi outlast them all.

Mom was born in 1956, her first car was an MGB convertible. She’s had numerous VW beetles, Camaro’s, Firebirds etc. Her love of Jaguars, Stingray Corvettes, Porsche 911's and all things European and exotic got me into cars at such a young age. At 28 I’m on my 11th car, she always supports me with whatever I purchase

After numerous projects I lean towards starting stock and build what you want at your expected level of quality. So much work is done “half butt” that it can cost more to fix vs. starting from scratch

Aren't road cars already regular cars?

What about all the collision and self driving sensors? Up until recently any car with these options was stricken with noticeable nipples across the front and rear bumpers. Does the flat fascia eliminate he need for exposed sensors?
