I had an 88’ 4.0 Cherokee that I purchased fully functioning from the local u pull it for $500! It clearly had run without an oil change for tens of thousands of miles from the burnt caked oil crust but after some sea foam it ran like a champ! An amazing engine, electrical components are another issue all together

What a bad deal!

Just making sure that you do realize he is doing this only to avoid paying $5mil in a sex tape lawsuit. He is not broke and never will be.

Four years ago my girlfriend wanted to buy the then new 2012 Fiat 500 sport 5spd...only she didn’t know how to drive stick and I only had a basic understanding. We vacationed in Cancun and I specifically requested a manual transmission vehicle. I had an amazing time learning to drive in Mexico towns, having the locals

If you pickup the oil cheap enough from Walmart, Costco etc there really is no need to run conventional!

One of the first cars I have memory of, my father drove one.

That's great!

Do I smell a “best military surplus vehicle under $20,000” happening soon?!

Along with the Land Cruiser you can include the LX470! As much as some complain about the AHC suspension, I love it! There slow as hell but solid as a tank.

I've had some pretty terrible Lexus service that I've written about in Oppositelock but then again I live in South Florida!

Insert “In Soviet Russia” joke here.

Love the Project Pattaaaaa reference

Always wanted to daily a C4. 5 years ago or so I searched and searched but ended up picking up a 97 C5 instead for the same money. Night and day difference if your over 6ft tall.

Recently looked at one with 13,000 miles. It ended up selling for 21k which was too much as it wasn't completely stock and needed some cosmetic/interior work.

E38 era BMW is my fav. Call it tacky but I’ve seen a purple/cream with purple seat piping that was amazing! BMW individual has had some great color combos.

I’m interested in knowing what the non recalled cars use for airbag propellant...I have two Toyota products from 01-02 and they have been Florida cars their entire lives. I can't help but think they will all be recalled at some point.

As a Floridian we basically have no real public transit besides the city buses. I've visited New York about 3 times in the last 3 years and I have to say the worst part about it is the subways. I've seen stroller dog sized rats, a robery in progress and people urinating. MTA probably laughs this all off.

In the past two years I’ve used two car buying services. I typically use Costco and TrueCar to compare prices. I’ve also used “passport unlimited” through an employer and received employee pricing on an Audi Q5 lease.

LS400 and Lexus in general. I bet the Germans did not think the Japanese could steal as many sales as they did. American luxury makers even more so.
