That is not really what happened. Comments endorsing man-boy love by Milo were found. That was finally enough to outrage everybody even on the right, who loved the hate he spewed otherwise. So Maher really did not play any role in taking him down.

I would not go that far, but I would say that the circular firing squad PC stuff needs to be shot down and opposed via strong views and arguments. Maher does it and people don't like it. So more power to him. Too many of the left fear taking on the recieved wisdom or PC flavor of the moment.
